Mayor's Public Safety Recruitment Task Force

The Mayor’s Public Safety Recruitment Task Force is an initiative created by Mayor Mark Holland including the Department of Justice, KCK Public Safety Departments, all school districts within Wyandotte County, Donnelly College, Kansas City Kansas Community College and appointees from each Unified Government Commissioner. The Task Force developed recommendations and presented them to the Unified Government Board of Commissioners on June 4, 2015 and they were adopted that same evening. The recommendations now head to the County Administrator’s office for implementation pending budget consideration.
