Mortgage Foreclosure sales are every Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Wyandotte County Courthouse (710 N. 7th Street) in the basement level breakroom (next to the elevators).

There is no registration required to bid, but you are required to bid at least $1.00 more than the opening bid.

The listed properties can be found on the website of the Law Firms representing the Lender. These are the Law Firms that frequently represent Lenders in our sales:

  • Southlaw
  • Bonial & Associates
  • Millsap & Singer
  • Shapiro & Kreisman/Logs Legal Group

Listed properties are also published in these publications:

Properties not sold to a 3rd party bidder will go back to the Lender.

Day of the sale: The winning bidder must pay the full amount of the winning bid for the property with a cashier’s check made out to the "CLERK OF THE DISTRICT COURT" and taken to the clerk’s office on the third floor by 2:00 PM on the same day of the sale. Please include the case number on remittance. If payment is not made by the deadline, bidder will be banned from sales for two years.

After the sale: There is a redemption period for properties sold which allows the owner/borrower to pay the full amount and keep the property. That time frame can be anywhere from 30 days and/or up to a year depending on the amount owed.

If redeemed: It is the 3rd party bidder’s responsibility to file a court motion “Order to Refund” to reimburse money that any 3rd party bidder has paid if the property is redeemed.
