#CityHallSelfie Day is a celebration of public service showcasing pride in local government institutions. Every year since 2016, government employees, elected officials, members of the media, and community members have participated in the event.

#CityHallSelfie Day is organized by ELGL, Engaging Local Government Leaders, a professional association for people who work in and with local government.

We’re biased but we think #CityHallSelfie Day is the best day of the year! Now is the time to show your local gov love. Participation is easy:

1. Take a picture of yourself, with a group, or with a community member in front of your local government building.
