Notice is hereby given that the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department of Unified Government desires to obtain the services of a qualified Design/Build team to prepare engineering plans and construct a new 20,000 ft² Unified Government Police Department West Patrol Station. The plans will also include designs to construct two steel buildings in the 2029 budget process.

This project is funded within the 2024/2025/2026 CMIP. While this project has an existing budget, it is further anticipated that a review is necessary so that any changes or budget revisions could be addressed within the 2024/2025 budget process.

The successful design/build contractor will be responsible for determining the building design to serve the needs of the working group involved in the project. The contractor will be responsible for establishing priorities, and setting schedule in order to meet that final agreed upon delivery date. The Unified Government and the contractor will establish a guaranteed maximum price. It will be the contractor’s duty to comply with that value.

Your company needs to demonstrate prior experience and interest in this type of project. Written proposals with qualifications, project team and identified project manager are required
