Parkwood Park Build Day - (Seeking Volunteers)

The Unified Government Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with Kaboom!, Vibrant Health, and Carmax Cares to host the rebuilding of the playground at Parkwood Park (952 Quindaro Blvd., Kansas City, KS 66101).

All are invited to volunteer and spread the word about this amazing project. The Parks and Recreation Department and organizing partners are seeking to secure at least 200 volunteers, at all skill levels and abilities.

**Please note - All youth under the legal working age (14) for this state will not be able to participate.**

Playground Build Dates:

Tuesday, August 15, 2023 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Wednesday, August 16, 2023 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Thursday, August 17, 2023 (8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

What's Provided:

Breakfast, lunch and water will be provided. Gloves and other safety materials will be provided for the projects that require them. All volunteers will receive a T-shirt to wear during the project (if relevant).
