UG Seeks Input on Proposed Use of Federal Funds Totaling $3,149,641.85

Kansas City, KS – The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas will accept public comments on its Draft 2024 Annual Action Plan through August 14, 2024.
The Annual Action Plan consolidates three entitlement grant programs into a single application that is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Community Development Block Grant ($2,208,226), HOME Investment Partnership Program ($741,711.85), and the Emergency Solutions GraFrint Program ($199,704) totaling $3,149,641.85.
The draft plan can be reviewed, and comments can be submitted at https://www.wycokck.org/Departments/Community-Development/Plans-Reports, under the 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan & Annual Action Plan page tab. A public input meeting is being held for the 2024 Annual Action Plan. The public meeting will be held on July 26, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at Livable Neighborhoods, 4953 State Ave., KCK 66102. Information regarding virtual participation will be posted on the Unified Government website (www.wycokck.org) and at Livable Neighborhoods.
