System Upgrade Notice: Temp. Closure of Accela Platform & NRC Lobby

 Please be advised: The online building, development review, business licensing/occupational tax, property maintenance case management, and planning permits software—Accela—will be unavailable to staff and the public for system updates beginning Thursday, April 17, at 12:00 PM.

In preparation for these updates, the customer lobby of the Neighborhood Resource Center (NRC) at 4953 State Ave., KCK, KS 66102 will close early on Thursday at 11:30 AM.

Please also note that our offices will be closed on Friday, April 18, in observance of the Spring Holiday.

The NRC customer lobby and the upgraded Accela system will reopen to the public on Monday, April 21, beginning at 8:00 AM.

This week’s upgrade marks an important behind-the-scenes transition as we move our Accela system from an on-premise solution to a cloud-based platform. While there will be only minor visible changes at this stage, this move lays the groundwork for future enhancements that will improve how users submit applications, track projects, schedule inspections, and receive permits.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take this critical first step toward improving service delivery for both our staff and the community.
