During the July 11, 2024, full commission meeting, Mayor Tyrone Garner and Chief of Staff Irene Caudillo presented the community with a new initiative called "Dotte Proud" Cards. Dotte Proud Cards gives Mayor Garner and all UG Commissioners the opportunity to present community members with a card that recognizes them for their service and hard work throughout the community.
These coveted cards will be given to those who work quietly behind the scenes. Whether you are a long-time resident, original Dotte, a new resident who stepped up, or stepped up for the first time without any expectation of recognition, we intend to make sure you are valued and to thank you for all that you do to better Wyandotte County!
