Across the Unified Government this holiday season, staff are working to make a difference beyond their daily tasks. Check out these great ways to engage with our community and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and fellow Dottes.
The Kansas City Kansas Police Department invites you to start your holiday shopping today by participating in this annual fundraising event. Bid on hot gifts for the holiday season for your own family and friends. All proceeds from the online auction will help us purchase gifts for local children who may otherwise not receive anything for Christmas. You can bid for items such as watches, tablets, power tools, cameras, and more! Bidding closes at 6PM on November 17. Sales tax and a 5% processing fee is charged to each purchase.

The Kansas City Kansas Fire Department (KCKFD) will be participating once again in the annual Season of Hope toy drive, a collaboration with the Salvation Army and KSHB 41. Donation boxes for new and unopened toys will be available at all KCKFD fire stations starting on November 18.
The Unified Government Fleet Division is hosting its annual internal toy drive. Donation boxes are available at the Fleet Campus now through December 20. UG staff can reach out to Dewayne Smith and Russ Owens with questions.
Thank you for your support in spreading hope this holiday season!
