UG Hollywood Casino Fund Grant Opens March 1, 2025

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS (UG) has announced that the 2025 Hollywood Casino Fund Grant program will open on March 1, 2025.  Established to support the goals of Healthy Communities Wyandotte, the focus will be to fund programs that increase knowledge and action toward long-term changes that enable Wyandotte County community members to eat healthy food and be physically active. In 2024, grants ranged from $500 to $24,000 and the average award was $6,000.

In partnership with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, applicants can submit their applications online here.

The selection committee is seeking applications that demonstrate cultural relevance, address opportunities to increase knowledge and improve the food environment or support active living through utilization of Wyandotte County’s environmental infrastructure. There is no restriction on the minimum or maximum size of grant.
