Celebrating the Service and Dedication of three Wyandotte County Women
During the Full Commission Meeting on Thursday, March 30, 2023, Mayor Tyrone A. Garner will issue a proclamation, declaring March 8, 2023, International Women’s Day and March as Women's History Month. During the meeting he will also recognize three Wyandotte County women who are making a positive impact in our community and beyond.
"We’re so proud to highlight our Wyandotte County Women’s History Month Honorees at the March 30th Commission Meeting," said Mayor Tyrone A. Garner. Irene Claudillo, with El Centro, Ladora Lattimore with Friends of Yates, and Kathy Wolfe Moore, former Chief of Staff to Mayor Carol Marinovich, are all women that have committed their careers and lives to building up the communities around them. Collectively, these women have changed Wyandotte County as we all know it entirely for the better. We thank them for their contributions and the example they show other women and young girls in our community."
