For the first time this Spring, the Livable Neighborhoods team is launching CivicConnect - a program connecting residents to our local government.
Join us for a four (4) session series to connect with Unified Government employees to learn about departments, programs, and initiatives. These sessions will begin March 12th and occur on the 2nd Tuesday of the month through June 11th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Food will be provided. Registration is required and limited to 25 participants.
We will be covering topics such as differentiating between city and county services, solid waste management (a fancy government term for trash and recycling), budget process, stormwater, property maintenance, how to use 3-1-1, and more! This is a great opportunity for community members to learn more about how local government works and how to effectively engage with our departments to support thriving neighborhoods.
The first cohort launches March 12 and will meet monthly.
