Long-Term Rental License Renewal Push Underway

Neighborhood Resource Center staff have visited approximately 650 properties for non-renewal of long-term residential rental licenses last week to leave a notice regarding their expired rental license. We encourage landlords to respond quickly to rectify the issue.

All rental licenses expire on April 30 of each year. Renewal invoices are mailed the first week of April and delinquent notices are mailed the first week of August. The properties that remain delinquent are placarded with a green sticker the first week of September. As of August 1, a 10% penalty is added each month until the balance is paid.
