In 2025, Wyandotte County will be celebrating 100 years of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building, or Memorial Hall. Designed by Rose & Peterson, the venue opened in 1925 as a civic auditorium and war memorial for World War I veterans. Over the decades, some of the hottest musical acts of the time performed at Memorial Hall. The building has been host to memorials, graduations, weddings, weekly dances, competitions, wrestling, roller derby, and so much more. We look forward to celebrating the rich history of Memorial Hall as we prepare for the next 100 years.
We're looking for community partners, local talent, small businesses, and so much more to help us with a three-day community celebration September 11-13, 2025. Fill out the form below to join our Memorial Hall email list to learn how you can get involved!
