WyCo Sheriff's Office Warns Community of Scam Calls

It has come to the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office attention that an unidentified individual has been making scam calls claiming that they are a member of the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Sometimes they are even using real names and titles of actual employees. This individual claims that they require payment to settle warrants, tickets, etc.

The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office wants to make it clear that we will never call you for payment. If you receive a call from someone claiming to be one of our employees asking for payment of any kind, please do not give them money.
